Detailed Outline for the Opening Sequence for 'Remember Me'

In this post I will be writing a rough outline for my opening sequence:

My opening sequence introduces the main characters and their relationship through a series of everyday moments inside their home. The audience sees visual clues in the mise-en-scene, such as shoes (heels and trainers) and contrasting beauty/grooming products, which suggest that they are a couple and highlight their different personalities. 

Both characters are shown getting ready, with the girl finishing her makeup and the man preparing himself, creating a sense that they are about to go somewhere important.

As the sequence continues, the audience is given a key hint about the narrative through a close-up of a ring, suggesting that the man is planning to propose. This creates enigma, as the audience begins to question when and how the proposal will happen. 

The couple then come together and leave the house, reinforcing their relationship and building anticipation.

The opening ends with them getting into the car and driving off, maintaining a calm and romantic tone while subtly foreshadowing that something is about to go wrong. It ends with the screen going black with sounds of a car crash. Overall, the sequence sets up the characters, their relationship, and the main storyline, while creating intrigue and engaging the audience from the start.
