Choosing Fonts For My Titles

In this post I will be looking at different fonts suitable for my title. Rom-com titles usually make it clear as what to genre the film will be, they are normally bright and colourful, have a fun cursive font and include words about love/relationships.

Here are some examples of typical rom-com fonts used in titles:

I will be using two websites to help me find a font that I like and that is suitable for my genre, the first will be Dafont and the second will be Font Meme.

Pros:

• Free downloads
• Big variety of fonts
• There's a preview tool so you can see what your title would look like with that font

Cons:

• Quality varies and some fonts are amatuerish
• Time-consuming searching as there are so many fonts
• Website was hacked in 2017

• Has sub-headings of fonts for specific genres
• Easy to find specific fonts
• Quick previews

Cons:

• Not all free to download
• Harder to download
• Limited editing tools
